PartyPoker Sports Star Challenge
The PartyPoker Sports Stars Challenge is genius – consisting of some of the best from all fields of competition, these sportsmen will be pitted against each other in a televised tournament of poker, playing for a share of $84,000, and thanks to PartyPoker you could be joining them. Amongst the sports stars to be spotted will be Frank Leboeuf, Phil Taylor, Thomas Helmer, Andy Goode, Ciancario Fisichella, Sven Ottke, Ronald de Boer, Jan Molby, and the list is getting bigger each week. On each of the 7 teams there will be 2 spaces for winners of the PartyPoker online free roll qualifiers that will be running over the next few weeks via on PartyPoker.
Each day from now until May 10th you will see 2 qualifiers for specific teams according to sport, for example Tuesday may be for the rugby team, Monday for the football team. The sports represented are football, rugby, motor sports, golf, darts, and boxing. From those free rolls the top 10 players will get through to the final, one for football, one for rugby etc., that will be held between May 11th and 17th. From each of the finals the top 2 players will progress into the actual team, winning the Sports Stars Challenge package, and will find themselves in the tournament in the UK, being recorded for television between May 29th and June 1st.
