Preparation for Pokerstars Turbo Takedown Begins

Pokerstars boasts that at least one out of every three participants in the Turbo Takedown gets a cash payout which seems unbelievable, but is in fact true: hence, this a tournament that it simply doesn't pay to miss.

The Turbo Takedown has a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million, and guess what – it costs nothing to enter! Or at least, it doesn't cost any real money to enter. Whilst the prizes are all real cash, the entry is all Frequent Player Points, bringing a whole new understanding to converting points to cash. The regular buy-in for the tournament is 5,000 FPP, however, as always there are "cheaper" ways of getting your hands on the cash.

Satellites can be found on Pokerstars running regularly, with buy-ins starting at just 10 FPP – quite the bargain! The Turbo Takedown tournament itself will be running on Sunday April 26th, the last Sunday of the Month, starting at 14.30 ET, and a whopping 4,000 players will finish in the money. If you're curious what your points could be turned into, check out the top 5 payouts:

1.    $100,000
2.    $60,000
3.    $40,000
4.    $32,500
5.    $25,000

So, whether it's earning those extra few points for the buy-in, or getting into a satellite it's worth thinking now about how you're going to get you're foot in the door – remember seats are limited and will fill up quickly, so better start preparing now.
